For the first time, Breakthrough Kent Denver, with the help of the Kimmy Foundation, will be able to provide college funds to our high school graduates. The Kimmy Foundation generously decided to pick four Breakthrough students who embody the three “Cs,” character, creativity and compassion for others.

At the moment, members of the senior class have applied for the Kimmy Foundation grant. Ten students have been selected to interview with the Kimmy Foundation Board of Directors on May 1, and of those ten, four students will be selected to receive grants!

The Kimmy Foundation’s Mission Statement:

In keeping with the ideals and life of Kathryn Dougherty Galbreth, The Kimmy Foundation, with the help of its contributor network, will seek young creative individuals who have demonstrated strong character and a compassion for others, and assist them in their education and advancement to become world citizens of the future.
