The Kimmy Foundation has partnered with Breakthrough Kent Denver to award four outstanding students with college grants! For the first time, Breakthrough Kent Denver, with the help of the Kimmy Foundation, will be able to provide college funds to our high school graduates. The Kimmy Foundation generously decided to pick four Breakthrough students who embody the three “Cs,” character, creativity and compassion for others.
At the moment, members of the senior class have applied for the Kimmy Foundation grant. Ten students have been selected to interview with the Kimmy Foundation Board of Directors on May 1, and of those ten, four students will be selected to receive grants!

In keeping with the ideals and life of Kathryn Dougherty Galbreth, The Kimmy Foundation, with the help of its contributor network, will seek young creative individuals who have demonstrated strong character and a compassion for others, and assist them in their education and advancement to become world citizens of the future.

Join us for dinner, a stage show, and the closing ceremony where each student will be recognized.
Visitor’s Day is Friday, July 10 from 1:00PM-3:15PM
We invite you to join us for a day of community building and fun! All friends and family are welcome to attend. There will be a great activities and opportunities to visit with new and old Summerbridge/Breakthrough students, families, and teachers.

Breakthrough Kent Denver has kicked off its 15th summer session! With the expansion of our second site at Manual High School, we have our largest staff ever and are serving over 180 students at both sites.
